In a little village nestled in the heart of the Vallé de Villé, Hohwarth is a protected site. It has the
same origins as Saint-Pierre-Bois, to which it is adjoined on both a civil and spiritual level.
There used to be a monastery at the base of the Ungersberg, which was inhabited by the Knights Templar
until 1312, when the order dissolved.
Ruins can still be found in the Klosterwald forest.
Located in a beautiful natural setting, Hohwarth village is an idyllic site.

We invite you to visit the MEYER Distillery to see how we distil our brandies
and to sample our products.
